Crowd Control, Delivered To You
Stanchion Rental in Peterborough
Peterborough programmes its summer around a park on the edge of a lake, and the concert and festival series held there sets the scale of everything else the city does. Around it sits a university, a downtown theatre scene and the cottage-country traffic that arrives every weekend from May onward.

Events we supply in Peterborough
The festival half is large-scale outdoor crowd management: stage fronts, spectator lines, vehicle lanes and controlled entrances on parkland that has to be handed back in good condition afterwards. That is barrier work at the perimeter and stage barricade in front of the stage, and the two are not interchangeable.
The rest is campus and cultural. Convocations, conference days, theatre evenings, gallery openings and the downtown market bring belt stanchions in for the doors and rope stanchions with a runner where the entrance is being presented properly.

Delivery to Peterborough
Peterborough is a straightforward run for us, and the parkland sites are the part worth planning. Send the build schedule alongside the site plan: on a park, equipment usually has to land in a specific order relative to everything else going up, and the ground conditions decide how close a vehicle gets.
What delivery to Peterborough comes to rests on two things: the address and the size of the order. A theatre foyer and a lakeside concert site with a staffed perimeter are the two ends of that range. Send the park or campus address with your build schedule and the drop is sequenced into the quote.
Book ahead for peak dates — the summer concert and festival run books out first. Outside those there is no minimum notice, so a July weekend is the one to confirm furthest ahead.
Peterborough questions
What goes across the front of a stage?
Aluminium stage barricade, not steel crowd control barrier. The two answer different problems: barrier suits a line people move along, and barricade suits a line people press into for an entire set. Its base runs back under the front rows, so the crowd leaning on it is what anchors it. Send the stage width and any pit or photo position.
Will equipment mark parkland?
Barrier sections stand on their own feet with nothing driven into the ground, so nothing is staked or drilled. Carpet runners fix down with professional double-sided tape, which holds firm underfoot and lifts afterwards without marking the surface. On soft ground the thing to tell us is how exposed the site is, so we can plan ballast.
Can you deliver to a lakeside venue outside town?
Yes. Send the physical address rather than the venue name if it is a private property, and tell us what the approach looks like — a gravel drive, a long lane, a slope down to the water. That decides how we load and whether it is one trip or two, and it is far better settled before the quote.
