Crowd Control, Delivered To You

Stanchion Rental in Pembroke

Pembroke sits at the top of the Ottawa Valley with a large garrison next door, and that gives it a strand of event work found almost nowhere else on our list: ceremonial parades, formal dinners and change-of-command occasions, run to a standard where the equipment is expected to be exact rather than approximate.

Events we supply in Pembroke

The ceremonial half wants precision. A route marked to the inch, a rope line that hangs evenly along its whole length, posts that stand true on a parade square. Rope stanchions and a runner do that work, and the count is usually modest while the tolerance is not.

The community half is the Valley’s own programme — riverfront festivals, agricultural events, waterfront concerts, winter carnivals and the arena calendar. That brings barrier out for outdoor perimeters and belt stanchions in for the doors, most of it run by volunteer committees.

Delivery to Pembroke

Pembroke is a long run up the Valley for us, so counts and access are worth settling before the vehicle is loaded. Where the delivery is going onto a base, send the gate, the sign-in requirement and the name of whoever is expecting us, and the whole approach is planned rather than negotiated at the barrier.

What delivery to Pembroke comes to rests on two things: the address and the size of the order. A parade-square route and a riverfront festival perimeter are the two ends of the range here. Send the address with any gate or sign-in requirement and the whole approach is settled in the quote.

Book ahead for peak dates — the summer festival run and the ceremonial dates either side of it fill first. Outside those there is no minimum notice, so a Valley date benefits more than most from arriving early.

Pembroke questions

Can equipment be delivered onto a base?

Yes. Send the gate, whatever sign-in or escort the site requires and the name of the person expecting us, and we plan the drop around it. Those requirements are routine — they simply need to be known before we set out rather than resolved at the barrier.

How evenly does a long rope line hang?

Evenly, if the spacing is right. Stand the posts about 4 ft apart against a 5 ft rope: the extra length is the drape, and consistent spacing is what makes a run of twenty look like one line rather than twenty separate spans. On a parade square, flat and firm ground does the rest.

Is this manageable for a volunteer committee?

Belt stanchions especially. There is nothing to assemble — the belt pulls out, clips into the next post and winds back flat — and we set out on delivery and collect afterwards, so nobody on your committee is moving equipment at the end of a long day.
