The Black Runner
Black Carpet Runner Rental in Ottawa
A runner designed to disappear. It argues with no brand palette, holds up under low light and in front of a lens, and comes in 4 ft or 6 ft cut to your walk.

Two inputs: the width, and the length your route demands. Where the walk outruns a single piece we join them, and the price follows the finished distance — not the number of pieces involved. How we quote →

Why choose the black runner
Of the five, black is the one that contributes nothing to the frame — and that is the point. Where the things beside the walk are already carrying the colour, a logo wall, a lit build, a launch display, you want a route marked and then forgotten about, with the artwork left as the only thing worth looking at.
Dark rooms are the other case for it. Lay red or white across a dim floor and you have added a bright stripe; black sinks into it instead, so a low-lit lounge or an evening activation keeps whatever atmosphere the lighting designer built. Film and television lean on the same property — the walked line stays put from take to take and never lifts the exposure.
Put chrome posts beside it for contrast, or black posts if you want the whole arrangement to fade back together. Tape is the same story as always: professional double-sided, indoors or out, edges held flat under foot traffic, no residue when it comes up.
